SeaSense ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the SeaSense mobile application.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data from your device to our own servers. SeaSense is designed to be a "pull-on-demand" information tool. We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or share your name to use the App.
Any preferences you set within the App—such as "Favorite Locations," preferred wind units, or layout settings—are stored locally on your device using native storage APIs. This information never leaves your device and is not accessible by us.
To provide you with accurate marine forecasts, SeaSense retrieves data from the Open-Meteo API. When the App makes a request for weather data:
